Parliamentary

An important part of my role as MP for Blackburn is the work that I do in Parliament, representing all my constituents – whether they voted for me or not – and promoting the constituency. In addition, I have a ministerial role as Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice. My ministerial role means that I am frequently called upon to speak in Parliament, often answering parliamentary questions and taking part in debates in the House of Commons, as well as giving evidence to various select committees. This part of the website provides internet links to all my recent appearances in Parliament via “They Work For You”, a non-partisan website run by a charity which aims to make it easy for people to keep tabs on their elected and unelected representatives in Westminster.
